We’re off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of oz.
Except of course I’m doing it backwards, flying to Kansas (or Colorado at least to start of with) from the technicolor land of London in order to meet some twisters.
Not so fussed about meeting any witches.
We touch down in Denver in just 10 days time and from then on I will literally be going where the wind tales me.
And Tony of course, the resident guru.
Question is, will there be any storms? Current outlook is inconclusive. As we get within the range of reliable forecasts hopefully we’ll start to get an idea of what to expect. Tony reckons there is a chance the ‘blocking pattern’ that is currently restricting developments may break down just as we get there, but it is really too early to say.
