Flights booked, Its happening.
Mark down January 9 2013 as the day i finally committed to going storm chasing in 2013! On 14 May I will be flying over to Denver in the US for two weeks of hunting for the perfect storm.
And here is the site that is going to track every step of my journey. Lets be honest I’m doing it for me, but feel free to come along for the ride.
If I do this right this could become a guide for those who are equally as weird and obsessed as I am and want to follow in my footsteps.
From now until we go I’m going to use this to track all our preparation, the gear, the software, the hardware as well as all the forecasting knowledge that I’m going to try and cram into my head between now and departure day.
Once we get there I’ll use this as my daily diary, comment on the setup, post my pictures and, of course, my experiences of smalltime America as we tour randomly around Tornado Alley.
