The first storms formed close by in Seymour to the South West, and we followed this cluster for the rest of the day.<\/p>\n<p>In fact the storms formed a rapidly expanding squall line that was soon hundreds of miles long. We kept ahead of it all the way, heading further and further south towards Mineral Wells. <\/p>\n<p>The storms soon became more severe and several tornado warnings appeared on the supercells at the southern edge. Although we were pretty close to the cells and the tornadoes that started to form, we didn&#8217;t see much, being to the west behind the rain.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately we gave up and headed back to Dallas. Later into the evening the squall caught up with us again and treated us to a spectacular final light show &#8211; a fitting farewell to a great trip. <\/p>\n<p><a
